Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial
Covering nearly eight acres, the Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial was established in 1997 in Washington D.C. Commemorating four-term president Franklin Delano Roosevelt, the mostly-outdoor FDR Memorial is managed by the National Park Service.
Several points of American history are depicted at the FDR site, including the Great Depression, World War II, and the impact of First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt. The Washington NPS site also offers guided tours, a museum, and a bookstore.
