Washington D.C. Hotel Reservations
The largest of all the Capitol Hill Parks, Lincoln Park is found in the east side of Washington D.C. in the Capitol Hill neighborhood. The park was originally known as Lincoln Square upon its creation in 1867, and was later changed to Lincoln Park after being maintained by the National Parks Service.
On-site, visitors will find two sculptures with historic significance – the Freeman’s Memorial to Abraham Lincoln and Mary McLeod Bethune Memorial. The park is family friendly, as it features two enclosed play areas and plenty of wide-open areas for pets.
